Marsia Alexander-Clarke: A Journey Through Time is an important survey of one woman's artistic practice and her innovative contributions to the history of art making in southern California. Although Alexander-Clarke started her career later than most of her contemporaries, her studio practice is innovative and complex. Alexander-Clarke utilizes sound and digital imagery to challenge the definition of painting. This book is printed as an extension of Marsia Alexander-Clarke's exhibition Llamando presented at the Museum of Art and History from May 13 through August 20, 2023.
Published by the Lancaster Museum of Art and History.
